Game of Thrones restarts on the 24 of April and it is going to hurt
Still 10 days before the beginning of the season 6 of Game of Thrones on HBO and the pressure is higher and higher ! On the heels of the preview, the channel released a second trailer ultra dense which puts a little more the stakes in this sixth eagerly awaited season. After the semi-disappointment of the season 5, the show of D.B Weiss and David Benioff is early from now on the Georges Martin's saga and the excitement is for its height at the fans.
HBO betted a lot of money this year, by increasing again its budget
It is not a secret : Game of Thrones is a very expensive serie for HBO. The channel invests a lot of greenbacks every year to produce the new episodes which we are all waiting for. But how many exactly? How much did the season 6 cost for HBO ?
The website Entertainment Weekly brings the answer. The website announces this week that the season 6 's budget is " above 10 million $ per episode" , so the total season of 10 episodes should cost around 100 million $ !
Which represents a huge increase against the previous seasons ! We know, for instance, that the first episode of the serie cost around 5 millions $ and that the first season cost in total around 50-60 millions $. The budget of the season 2 was lightly superior, because of the "BlackWater" battle which necessitated a 8 millions $ cheque. And for the few last years, we estimate that the medium budget of an episode has swung between 6 and 8 millions $.
The success of the serie is increasing, but the production's costs too. Despite of all, HBO invested again a huge amount of money this year, we all hope that it will appear on the screen !
This season 6 of Game of Thrones will begin on the 24th of April on HBO . We remind you that the season 5 is already available as DVD since the the 14th of March.
The fight of the century is coming and the bets are opened ! One thing is almost sure, even if Batman does not win, he will be always more popular than Superman.
Difficult to not irritate the fans of Superman by pleading that Batman is more popular than the man of steel. There is no question about it, the man bat is going to get a big beating in the movie. But it is still possible to believe that Batman will beat the son of Krypton in Batman vs Superman ! Bruce Wayne is more or less used to get knocked, while Clark Kent is sensitive only to Kryptonite and he is not used to losing.

According to the American criticisms, 10 Cloverfield Lane, the claustrophobic thriller produced by J.J Abrams, whose promotion intrigues the web, does not achieve perfection. Nevertheless, this mysterious closed-door sci-fi carried by of actors ( John Goodman, Elizabeth Winstead, John Gallagher Jr ) looks even more intriguing when we made the tour of the Hollywood reviews. This is what I learnt about 10, Cloverfield Lane :
A false sequel of Cloverfield : We already knew, thanks to J.J Abrams and more generally to the promotion of the movie, that both movies were bound by some elements of science-fiction but also that 10, Cloverfield Lane would not be a direct suite of Cloverfield. It is from now official if you read the criticism of Variety : "This sensational and efficient semi-suite does not looks like its predecessor at all, either through its narrative or through its style". And it is finally a good thing for The Hollywood Reporter : " If some people will regret the momentariness of an unchained Kaiju destroying everything on his passage, 10, Cloverfield Lane knew how to take advantage of its style and tone's changes. It is , in a completely different genre, even more powerful than Cloverfield."
A former film genre : " It's tense, frightening and the rhythm is graduated with the precision of a Swiss clock" writes Entertainment Weekly who blames simply the movie of not being enough as terrible as we would like ! According to Variety : " The tension, rooted in the psychology rather than in the gimmick of the genre, testify of the old school's adroitness. The result is very refreshing." You would have understood it, the movie plays on a whole pallet of feelings which work perfectly together : the fear.
Females went with Gone with the wind , while males looked to The Godfather
When the Hollywood Reporter polled 1,600 industry professionals for their top movie quotes of all time, lines from these four films ended up in the five of the top 10 spots for both men and women. Gone With the Wind's final line, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn", received the top spot among women and landed in second for men ( it came in at No.1 on the list overall). For men, "I'm going to make an offer he can't refuse" from The Godfather, landed at No.1. Two quotes from Casablanca landed on both lists : "Here's looking at you, kid" and " Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine". In fact, Casablanca's writers Philip Epstein, Julius Epstein and Howard Koch won the oscar for best screenplay in 1944. Philip Epstein's son recently told the Hollywood Reporter that he keeps his late father's oscar in a safe, while the film's iconic piano recently sold for over $3 million at a classic movie auction.
Overall, five quotes landed on the top 10 list for both genders, including famous lines from Star Wars and Jaws. Where they differ, the women chose lines from The Princess Bride, The Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, Fight Club and When Harry Met Sally, while the men went for quotes from The Godfather, Taxi Driver, The Dark Knight, The Terminator and Star Wars: Episode V — The Empire Strikes Back.
The author of Harry Potter unveils some historical anecdotes about the magic in America, while she is still writting her next trilogy : The Fantastic Beasts
With the Fantastic Beasts, J.K.Rowling wants to go on discovering the universe of Harry Potter by telling a new story which takes place around 70 years before the adventures of the sorcerer with glasses. The first part of this trilogy will take place for the first time in the North America, which allows his author to expand his magic world. For instance, she imagined new schools, as the American school "Ilvermorny" where the Muggle are called No-Maj. For this project, J.K.Rowling has directly written the scenario of the first movie, without publishing a real novel before. From yesterday (09/03) until the end of the week, the author proposes to his loyal readers a short texts serie on Pottermore.com and explains some details about the history of magic in America. For the moment you will be able to read three of these stories, and I encourage you to have a look ! We learn within these few paragraphs that wizards lived in North America much before the arrival of the European colons in the XVIIth century. Numerous indians had powers and they had specially the gift to be transformed into animal. Known under the name of " Skin Walkers", they were often persecuted during the history. The future narratives of J.K will detail some events which happened between the IVth century and the XXth century, as the trial of the witches of Salem or the implementation of restrictives laws 300 years ago by the Magical Congress of the USA, the equivalent of the british Ministry of Magic. Kit Harington, who has incarnated Jon Snow for 5 years in Game of Thrones,reveals, in an interview for Time Out London, that he does will appear briefly in the season 6 ; indeed, he will act as... the corpse of Jon.. Warning spoilers !
Description : The new adventures of Green Arrow/Oliver Queen, super efficient fighter from the DC Comics ' universe, and above all a very talented archer who belongs to the Justice League. Lost in sea with his father and his girlfriend, he is recovered alive five years later on an island near China. But during all this time, Oliver Queen has changed : he is strong, brave and determined to clear Sterling City from its crooks.
My opinion : A true character made in DC Comics ! The story of Oliver Queen, a normal guy who tries to organize his daily life with his family, his friends and the girls as much as he can during the day, and a hero during the night who tries to honor his words he told to his father by killing the crooks which destroy his home town. The story is not so original but so well produced and realisated that you will become quickly an Arrow addict ! The character of Arrow appears so strong which allows stunning action scenes ; besides, during the first season you will follow the adventures of Oliver Queen after his come back in Sterling city, but also some flashbacks on what happened to him during the five years on the Island where he learnt to become a killer ! That allows a break between all his "killing missions" and for me that is the more exciting part, that gave me the desire to continue watching, and I did well : the following season explains with more details the life on the island and I really enjoyed it ! More over, for those who don't really like action series, do not worry, you will find also few love stories all along the serie ! To conclude, the serie could be repetitive during the first season for some people but trust me, it is a very good serie lenghtwise. Rate : 7/10 Trailer :

My
opinion : Finally
an Oscar for Sir DiCaprio in The Revenant ! And he truly deserves
it ! From a cinematographic point of view, this movie is a little jewel : first
of all, the story takes place in stunning and spectacular landscapes made in
Canada, which cut the spectator 's breath. Watching this movie is like watching
a paint, Emmanuel Lubezki, the image director did not use artifical lights but
only the natural light which make us feeling the nature as we were inside !
Innaritu, the director, wanted to recreate the life's conditions of the
trappers in the old and deep america of the 1970's and he created a kind of
natural hell, which perfectly shows how the fight of Glass is difficult...
These conditions make the acting of DiCaprio again more spectacular, and behind
the screen, the spectator feels how hard it could have been to shoot this
movie. The movie starts with the attack of Glass by a bear, which is one of the
more spectacular scene I have seen and everybody should watch The
Revenant at least for this scene ! From this moment and until the end of
the movie, we feel the will of Glass, his suffering, his hatred and we want to
fight with him ! To resume, on a cinematographic plan, the movie is quiet
perfectly directed, and the acting of DiCaprio is upsetting.
However,
the bias taken by Innaritu to act in a so hostile environment creates some long
and slow scenes, which slows down the story and the spectator sometimes waits
for more action. Last but not least, I expected a better and more spectular
end, but that is only my opinion, it is your turn to give your by commenting
this post !

Avoiding an organization which wants to capture them, to kill them or to use them as guinea pigs, they look for which consequences this upheaval could have on the humanity.
My opinion : That is a kind of serie that everyone expects from Netflix ! What a good and original idea to think about a power which would link some completely different people around the world ! We all born in a precise place in the world and often finish our days in this place or around it, so the authors let us imagine how it could be if we had several spirits which would live all around the world, and that's so pleasant. It allows us to discover wonderful landscapes like India, Africa or Corea ! Except some science-fi scenes, the serie is stuck in reality so it's easy to identify to the characters. Besides the characters are all so different, from the hero cop to the gay actor of Hollywood through the russian gangster or again the young african which fighting every day to save her mother from aid, the mixity is perfect ! Episode after episode they understand that they are linked and they try to know how it is possible and who is at the beggining of all of that, and the spectator discovers it with them with so much curiosity ! However, a little caveat about the serie : the serie takes time to set up and it could be a lil bit annoying during the two or three first episodes ! To resume, this serie has no counterpart, if you are looking for an original serie you will like it ! For the moment, only one season is available on Netflix, the second one is still producing. From their arrival, they discover a dangerous but fascinating new world.
My opinion :
To my mind, this serie is the current trend ! After two fascinating seasons the beggining of the third one meets fans expectations : there are almost no low moments, new crews are appearing, we welcome new characters and discover new aspects of the older ones, the politic strategies and the cohabitation between the clans make it so exciting. To resume, the serie makes a perfect transition with the second season.
To give few words about the serie in a general view, don't be afraid to start watching it by thinking that it is just another serie about the end of the world like Walking Dead ( which remains a such good serie though ! ), where humans must face strange creatures like zombies or others. In The 100, the main topic is the cohabitation between humans, how the sky's crew can find his place on Earth and avoid wars or win them.. Add to this, some supense, lot of action scenes, pretty girls and guys, atypical and stressful characters and you get one of the best series of these few years.
If you have not yet tried it, I really advise you to do it ! Rate : 8/10

Armed with its new capacities and with a wild dark humour, Deadpool will pursue the man who almost annihilated his life.
My opinion : One of the best movies since the beggining of 2016 ! I have always enjoyed watching Marvel's movies but Deadpool is so different from the others hero : actually, he is not an hero but a anti-hero ! The main character does not care about what others think and he does not want to save weak people but he thinks only about his revenge and how to have the more fun possible by using his new powers, and we have fun with him !
The movie is perfectly realisated and shows high action scenes, Deadpool likes violence and he enjoys kill bad guys, but he always looks funny thanks to sharp humoristic punchlines and so many funny situations.
The soundtrack which is a mix of Hip Hop and club music suits very well with the film and the nature of Deadpool.
So, if you want to have a good time watching a movie which is both funny and exciting, Deadpool is for you !
